Hands On Network brings people together to strengthen communities through meaningful volunteer action. We are a growing network of more than one million volunteers changing communities inside and outside the United States. Hands On Network creates and manages nearly 50,000 projects a year, from building wheelchair ramps in San Francisco to teaching reading in Atlanta, to rebuilding homes and lives in the Gulf coast communities.

Hands On Network affiliates are different from other volunteer organizations because we meet the needs of modern citizens by extending programs beyond simple agency referral. Hands On Network affiliates guide the entire service experience, beginning with recruitment, moving through project management, and finally, addressing retention and recognition. This process for transforming an initial interest in helping into a meaningful service experience has proven effective for both adult and youth volunteers. Hands On Network is proud to support a committed corps of volunteers engaged in changing our nation through service.
